Let's talk cute frog shoes for a minute.
The creative people at Yochi Shoes asked me to review their toddler shoes on my blog, and sent me a pair of green and blue frog shoes in a size 5.
I thought they'd fit my niece's baby who is 1 year old, but it turns out he has feet the size of large rectangular cheese blocks. Luckily, there was another baby at his birthday party named Mira, 9 mos, with delicate feet, who LOVED the shoes. They squeak!
The mom loved the shoes cause they had velcro, were soft, and the stitching and quality of the shoes were excellent. The baby loved the shoes cause they were bright and had a friendly face on them. Plus, she's only a baby, so she's seen maybe two other pairs of shoes in her life. But these were the winners by far.
There are butterfly shoes, and other animals, as well as cute socks, and they come in a reusable cloth bag for the environmetally conscious gift-giver. So any of my mom blog readers out there who are looking for a gift idea, check out yochishoes.com. Just order a size bigger than you need, especially if you have a fat footed toddler.
Getting these happy shoes and putting them on Mira almost made me want to have another baby, just to warn you. Biologically hazardous, extreme cuteness factor.
